There are only about 8500 Kayapo living today (very few). In the rainforest, they live in the eastern half mostly ins Para along the Xingu river. This area, which the natives live in, the government wants to build dams so it is greatly in danger. Also damaging some of the rainforest the Kayapo would be without homes if the government is successful in building these dams. The Kayapo are actually very Intelligent and very modern. Paramedics, radio operators and mechanic are just a few things that the Kayapo have been very well trained in. They are even up to date on their technology such as vehicles as planes.

 

 

 

 

The Yanomami Natives wear minimal clothing. Yanomami women traditionally wear no clothing at all.The Yanomami Natives live in the Northwest of the Amazon Rainforest. Yanomamis are hunters, fishers and horticulturists. Their diets have the least amount of salt and they have the lowest blood pressure.
